DescriptionOne of the worlds leading consultancies steeped in history with a global reach are looking for an Executive Advisor / Consultant to join the team based in Leeds or Manchester.

This is an exciting role working within my clients IT Advisory Practice, services are of both an assurance and advisory nature.

The role principally involves leading and delivering IT Project Advisory assignments in the Financial Services industry, as well building on client relationships to develop and manage new opportunities.

You must have Proven Managerial experience in the delivery of IT dependant business programmes and / or the delivery of IT consulting engagements covering areas such as IT Strategy, Business Analysis, IT Performance or IT Sourcing. This may be through Big 4 experience or other consultancy, or working directly for a major Financial Services organisation (Retail Bank, Building Society or Insurance Company) or outsourced service provider to the industry.

Successful candidates will display a combination of the following:
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex engagements or projects
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Financial Services processes, systems and technologies, with a demonstrable track record in the definition and / or implementation of IT in this area.
• Experience of IT governance and IT sourcing strategies.
• Ability to identify and assess complex IT issues, including risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business environment and to express opinions clearly to all levels.
• Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Qualifications such as Prince2 / MSP / ITIL would be useful.
• Willing and able to work on a wide variety of different engagements in differing roles and locations.
• Involvement in sales activities including assisting on proposals, identifying opportunities during the course of engagements and regularly monitoring these on the sales pipeline, attending specific client related events.
• People management including setting engagement objectives for the engagement teams and carrying out reviews at the end of each engagement.

The role will be based at their Leeds or Manchester offices, but may include both national and international travel, with the potential to be away from home a few nights a week.
