Want a fresh start for the New Year, what better way to do it than find your self a new fantastic, exciting and challenging role within Investment Banking. My client requires a Front Office Java Developer who has extensive knowledge and experience of the industry. With excellent communication skills and a skill set to match, we are looking for a professional with a magic touch. The candidate must have excellent core java development knowledge, good OO design skills, knowledge of XML and related technologies. Experience of dependency injection (ideally in Spring), and finally exposure to formal development methodology (preferably agile – an iterative approach to development, continuous Integration, TDD, JUnit/NUnit). VB and .Net Experience is also desirable but not essential. It is essential that the candidate has experience within a Front office environment, and is able to handle the fast paced environment that the role will bring.
