| Description | Our client is looking to expand on its strong team of staff and require a Hardware Development Engineer. Duties include: • Design of digital and analogue audio routing systems • Design of audio networking solutions • Design of audio system peripherals • Legacy product support • Design validation of new products • Support in CE approvals testing Qualifications: Degree in a relevant subject or proven track record that demonstrates a clear ability to design complex, innovative new products. Skills: The successful candidate will have one or more of the following skill sets: • Design of embedded systems using high performance microcontrollers • Design of high speed digital systems using EPLDs • Design with Digital Signal Processors • Analogue Circuit Design • Experience with digital audio systems Experience: • A proven track record of designing electronics systems in a commercial environment is essential. • Good technical documentation skills. Requirements-capture and concise, but comprehensive specification writing, is important. • A practical knowledge and understanding of software principles would be an advantage.
