| Description | Front Office C++ Developer / Quants - Strong Mathematical Background / Banking Global investment bank currently seeks a Front Office C++ Developer to work directly with Traders, Market Makers, Marketers and Quants to enhance strategic technologies in the bespoke OTC, physical commodities and exchange traded market spaces, focusing particularly on trade capture, risk management and product development. Candidates will need to be strong C++ Developers working on large scale, hands-on front office projects within a UNIX environment. Additionally candidates will need; • Practical knowledge of derivatives, risk management and pricing (ideally in commodities space, but experience in other asset classes will also be considered); together with strong mathematical skills (Quants). • A strong desire for technical excellence and a proven track record of delivering innovative technical solutions in a global, often pressurised, front-office financial environment • Outstanding academic achievements; ideally you'll possess a relevant university technology degree, post-graduate qualification or equivalent.
