Description	My client is a leading Consultancy based in the North West of England. Working in their Advisory team and more specfically in Risk and Compliance they focus on providing IT assurance and governance, control and security advisory services to the Corporates market sectors. Strong growth ensures that there are a range of interesting & challenging projects to be managed & the opportunity for continued career development and typical engagements undertaken include: • Programme and Project assurance • Project management • ERP reviews • IT strategy review & development • Feasibility studies including software & systems integrator selection • Business case development • IT governance / controls reviews • Internal IT Audit • SAS 70 • SOx/ JSOx • IT due diligence • Post acquisition integration / separation Successful candidates will have a combination of the following: • Proven track record of successfully delivering IT advisory and assurance services within a consulting environment • Experience of the consulting sales processes & involvement in a number of proposals & business development activities • Experience in managing large, complex IT risk and control / audit engagements for blue chip clients in a range of industry sectors • Strong leadership and people development qualities • Ability to understand and interpret complex IT risks and controls and relate them in a business context and to express opinions clearly to all levels • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and first rate interpersonal skills • Excellent reporting and presentation skills Ability to develop strong client relationships • General consulting skills Proven academic record Responsibilities attributable to this role include the following: • Managers take responsibility for leading large and complex assurance engagements on client sites. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams. You will liaise with colleagues in other practice areas in order to agree scopes and budgets, take responsibility for delivery, overall quality and client satisfaction • Managing overall client engagement, ensuring that engagement management practices are followed, including engagement budgeting and forecasting, due diligence and risk management, billing, quality review, people performance and review of engagement work papers. • Maintaining strong, long term client relationships • Involvement in sales activities including assisting on proposals, identifying opportunities during the course of engagements and regularly monitoring these on the sales pipeline and attending specific client related events • People management including appraisals, setting engagement objectives for the engagement teams and carrying out reviews at the end of each engagement • Practice management, including presenting to own and other departments on current issues, specialist areas and new internal requirements TLP Consultancy Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
