| Description | Are you looking for the next challenge working with SAP BI7 - Then read on! We are working very closely with a true global leader in their field and to complement their internal SAP team they are recruiting a SAP BW / BI specialist. The role involves: • Provide remote second and third level service desk support for end users on process, data reconciliation and technical issues • Proactively work to reduce issues which impact users • Assist with training of user community in the functions and flow of IS and business processes, and effective use of BW information to support business goals • Develop documentation to facilitate user self-help, and support initiatives to increase users awareness and use of this material • Deliver, in a timely manner, small projects which meet business requirements around data delivery and use of that information • Understand and promote best practice • Testing new and existing BW functionality, to ensure undisrupted service to users when changes/upgrades/fixes are made to the system • Develop and maintain documentation of the BW system • Assist other team members in supporting the business, on both existing and new functionality • Support IS and Business projects as required • Minimum of proficient with Business Warehouse 7.0 configuration, especially data delivery. • A strong working knowledge (business process and/or configuration) of any of the following SAP functional areas is preferred: Finance, COPA, Inventory, Production Statistics or Manufacturing Variance Candidate profile The success candidate should excel in the following skills/competencies: • Customer Insight & Focus • Problem Solving • Ability to work on own initiative, and ability to work well in a team environment. • Business Acumen • Meeting commitments • Communication skills • Process Improvement This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global leader on BI7 and be involved in all aspects from blue print to go-lives.
