Description	The client is a global distribution company that requires an Lead SAP Basis Administrator to complement its SAP Competence Centre and provide technical leadership to the Basis team. Candidate must have strong team lead experience intertwined with solid hands on experience in order to be suitable for this position. The SAP and Netweaver product portfolios consist of the following: · SAP ECC5 · SAP 470 · SAP 46C · APO · BW · SAP Portal · XI Essential skills/responsibilities are: · Basic skills on Unix/Linux OS (good would be a plus) · Good skills in Microsoft (MSCS cluster would be a plus) · Good skills in Oracle · Monitor performance of the overall SAP landscapes and identify problems related to database, SAP parameters or OS · System patching from both ABAP and Java perspective · Deploy Java objects into XI or SAP Portal · Installation of various SAP products · Homogeneous system copies · Installation of various languages · All Basis activities (e.g. printer set up, instance profile tuning etc.) · Ability to trace and read ABAP traces to identify bottlenecks · Ability to debug Additional skills/responsibilities: · SAP Java engine tuning · Knowledge of the Data Dictionary · SAP Certification · Official SAP training Your profile: · Over 6 years professional experience on SAP implementations · Engineer or Information Systems degree · Working experience in international environment · Available for international travel Qualities: · Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently · Must posses a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering according to established project plans · Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development · Experience working with a very formal change control process · Capacity to anticipate issue resolutions and organize many different activities · Good relationships, ability to work inside a team, even disseminated around the world · Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself · Capacity to support pressure, listens to others, and communicates results · Good written and verbal English communication skills
