Description	SAP WM Functional Consultant. Global Manufacturing business currently require a SAP WM Functional Module Specialist to be based in the Global SAP Competency Centre in the North West. The purpose of the role is to implement the SAP critical business systems in accordance with best practice and to proactively maintain the SAP business systems for the Group globally, providing functional support in line with business requirements. Responsibilities: • Participate in business process reviews and will provide a balance of business and technical experience to determine the SAP solutions needed to fulfil new business requirements and/or organisational change. • Prepare specifications for configuration and programming and deliver these specifications to time and cost. • Work as part of a global SAP team on multiple SAP systems that support a multi-national organization. • Be active in all stages of an enhancement project; requirements gathering, specification, configuration, testing, training, documentation and support handover. Skills Required: • The candidate will have a high level of functional expertise in the SAP module area that they are responsible for, and will be required to update that expertise on a regular basis. • The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of associated WM module configuration, tables and interfaces, alongside a solid understanding of the integration points with other modules. o SU and HU Management o Use of standard/custom RF transaction processing and Barcode Technology o Fixed/Random Bin Replenishment o Material Staging o Put away and picking strategies • Technical awareness of SAP table architecture, user exits and ABAP debugging. • Demonstrate a balance of business process analysis skills and SAP technical knowledge with the ability to conduct process reviews and document business process flows. • Full project life cycle experience in applications design, analysis, and implementation. • The ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. This is an excellent role for a either a experience candidate wanting to work on multiple SAP systems or a candidate with a few years experience looking to continue there learning and development. Strong interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication, presentation and reporting skills are essential.
