| Description | Wintel Support Analyst My client a Tier 1 Investment Bank requires a Wintel Support Analyst to join their corporate technology department. The team provides IT support and services to the business departments. The role covers all production IT areas including Wintel, Help desk, trading floor support, IT operations, networks, voice, market data , Unix, databases and SWIFT services. Wintel Support Analyst responsibilities; • Providing 2nd line system administration and technical support for the Wintel based systems • Build, configure , install , upgrade , and troubleshoot all Wintel desktop equipment • Provide basic hardware support functions for PCs , laptops, servers and printers • Plan, test and implement upgrades to Wintel hardware and operating systems • Assist in the design, planning and implementation of team projects Wintel Support Analyst key skills; • Must have 5 years + IT support experience • Previous experience of working within a Wintel or 2nd/ 3rd line technician team • Previous experience within a financial institution • Experience in support of mission critical systems • Proven call management and escalation skills • Experience with hardware builds both laptops and desktops The successful candidate will provide technical support on a shift rota covering 07:00 to 19:00, Monday – Friday.
